THE BEARD STREET WAREHOUSE

The Beard Street Warehouse was built in 1869, by William Beard an Irish Immigrant who was a builder and a railroad contractor. The warehouse consists of 21 smaller warehouses, today The Beard Street Warehouse is one of the two remaining warehouses in New York Harbor. The warehouse which was once known as the W. Beard & Robinson Stores is eligible for being a New York City Landmark.

The warehouse is a two-story building, it is 48' wide, 144' in length and 28' in height.

We were given a two-story masonry building which was once used as a warehouse, now our task is to transform this historical building into a small Entertainment Center which will accommodate 250 patrons.
